Library eBooks for EBOOK READERS
Friday, Dec. 27, from 2-3 pm

Community Room (lower level).  In this class we will learn how to check out a library eBook on dedicated eBook readers.  With e-ink displays & paperback-size, e-Readers like the Kindle (shown) & NOOK allow you to comfortably read for hours without eyestrain.

Participants will browse the Maine InfoNet Download Library, select a title, and download it to their device.  Laptops will be supplied for this class.

Before the class: stop at the checkout desk to configure your wireless device with the library's wireless.  Kindle owners: come prepared with the email address and password that Amazon has on file for you.

We will wrap things up before 3:00 so staff can prepare for the next class.  At the end of class we will be happy to take any unanswered questions you may have and get back to you via email or phone.
