Kindle eBook Workshop
Thursday, Feb. 28, at 2:30 pm

Community Room (lower level).  In these workshops we are dealing with the Amazon Kindle, Kindle Fire, and the Kindle app for iPads.  We will go through the steps to check out an ebook with the InfoNet Download Library.  eBooks can be checked out for up to two weeks, at the end of which the title is automatically deleted – no late fees.

Borrowing a library e-book on a Kindle or Kindle app is a two-step procedure - starting at the Download Library and ending at Amazon.com.  Kindle owners need to be able to log in to their Amazon.com account to use this service.  An active library card at a participating library is also required.

Download library workshop schedule:

  • Kindle eBooks: February 28
  • Nook eBooks: March 7 & 21

Have a question about eBooks you want answered today?  These workshops are provided to offer a full overview of our ebook service; however Librarians are always available during library open hours to help answer your questions.
