The Friends of Rockland Public Library meet the third Thursday of every month at 4 pm in the Board Room. The public is welcome, and anyone wishing to find out more about the Friends is encouraged to attend.

The Library Advisory Committee meets the last Monday of the month at 10:00 am at the Library.

For Parents, Caregivers, and Children:

Children's Story Times: Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10:30 am.

Storytime for Babies:  Thursdays at 10:30 am. Sing, sway, and clap with your little one at our story time focused on singing together. A great introduction for your baby to words, sounds, and new friends. Perfect for birth to age two, and welcome to any child who enjoys music.

Drawing Workshop with artist Catinka Knoth:  Free.  Tuesdays from 4-5 pm in the Community Room.  Ages 6 and up.  Participants will follow along step-by-step with the artist.  They will create their own drawing in the process and discover yes, they CAN draw! Free and open to the public, these workshops are sponsored by  Wendy & Keith Wellin and hosted by the Rockland Public Library.  Materials will be provided for this program.
