Meetings:
The Friends of Rockland Public Library meet the third Thursday of every month at 4 pm in the Board Room. The public is welcome, and anyone wishing to find out more about the Friends is encouraged to attend, or contact Friends President Katie Syrett.
The Library Advisory Committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 2:30 pm at the Library.
For Parents, Caregivers, and Children:
Children's Story Times: Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10:30 am.
Storytime for Babies: Fridays at 10:00 am. This Storytime includes a few minutes of meeting one another, singing songs, simple hand games, stories featuring rhymes, repeating sounds, and bright colors.
Drawing Workshop with artist Catinka Knoth: Free. Tuesdays from 4-5 pm in the Community Room. Ages 6 and up. Participants will follow along step-by-step with the artist. They will create their own drawing in the process and discover yes, they CAN draw! Free and open to the public, these workshops are sponsored by the Willin Family Foundation and hosted by the Rockland Public Library. Materials will be provided for this program.
